Meet the Team
Flori
In his early years growing up in Istog, Kosovo, Flori developed a taste for the finer things in life. It was during this time Flori discovered a very simple rule for living: look good, feel good, and do better. He soon learned about cutting hair from his father and brother. Ever curious about taking his skills to the next level, Flori’s drive led him to take his talents abroad.
He started to refine his craft by working in barbershops while he attended school in Istanbul. Before long, he was already running his own business in town. Ever striving to perfect his natural-born talent, Flori decided to attend the Framesi Albania Academy, an elite Italian-run school in Kosovo. This elevated his abilities to service all types of hair, including women’s. Flori realized his potential for something greater when he noticed that local students would tap into his breadth of knowledge, resulting in the training over 30 barbers.
Flori’s journey ultimately brought him to the United States, in the hopes of one day creating a barbershop with his own image of perfection. His path to perfection has taken him through various chairs around the tri-state area. This culminated in the doors opening of Flori Barbershop in 2021.
As a testament to Flori’s hospitality, warmth, and skills, his loyal clientele continues to travel to Bronxville from far and wide to experience the best barber experience you’ll find anywhere. Whether clients are looking to touch up their usual style or try something bold and new, they can always expect an enjoyable, clean, and comfortable experience when they take a seat in Flori’s chair.
Zen
While growing up in the beautiful country of Kosovo, Zen quickly learned that in order to be successful, you needed to look the part. He’s made this concept a goal not only for himself, but to provide it for others. This vision was kickstarted when he attended school in Prishtina, the capital of his homeland. It was in these formative days in Kosovo that Zen began to develop a well-known reputation for his distinguished craft as a Master Barber.
In 1999, Zen accelerated his growth and expertise by learning alongside Flori. Since then, Zen has continued to master and perfect his technique under Flori’s mentorship. To further his skills and continuing to master his craft, Zen accepted Flori’s invitation to move to the United States to continue their partnership.
Much like his name implies, Zen wants his customers to have the most relaxing, enjoyable experience a gentleman deserves. His ability to connect with his clients allows him to understand their wants and needs and achieve their goals. Zen’s passion for barbering translates through his quality of work and he is excited to build new relationships as one of the foundational members of Flori’s Barbershop
KOBY
Hailing from Istog, Kosovo, Koby always had a desire to work with his hands. It’s this desire that allowed him to create and craft beautiful things. In 2020, this motivation brought him to America with a goal in mind: to apprentice under his uncle, Master Barber Flori. Following in his uncle’s footsteps, Koby has flourished under his tutelage. Since 2022 in Flori’s Eastchester Barber Shop, Koby has greeted every customer with a warm smile, a handshake, and coffee. Learning from Flori’s natural-born hospitality and warmth, Koby has learned first and foremost that every gentleman that walks into Flori’s Barbershop deserves nothing but the best.
Koby is constantly striving to master his craft through the inspiration of Flori. Whether it’s with scissors, clippers, or razor, Koby’s aim is to deliver the best possible experience for everyone who sits in his chair. His observations of Flori while under his tutelage has created an undying passion for satisfying his clients with a fresh look and great experience
EDDIE
Growing up in Kosovo, Eddie learned to appreciate two things: the ability to craft something beautiful and make everyone feel welcome. It was these two simple values that led him into the art of barbering. Following his determination to achieve perfection, Eddie decided to move to the United States to learn under Master Barber Flori.
Under Flori’s mentorship, Eddie has succeeded in delivering a quality experience for every customer. Constantly improving on his techniques, Eddie has quickly built a book of clients that leave his chair feeling fresh and modern after every service. As the most recent addition to Flori’s Barbershop, Eddie is excited to provide our customers with the type of experience that every gentleman deserves.
