Operating a barbershop since 1999, Flori's experience is based around the world, along with mentoring young barbers around Europe. Our goal is to provide the best customer service for our clients to have a one of a kind experience.
Flori
Originally from Kosovo, Flori has worked and traveled a great deal to reach his current level of success here in the United States. He is now a skilled barber with over 20 years of experience, and his customers have certainly taken notice.
Flori first learned about cutting hair from his father and brother in Istog, Kosovo. He soon refined his skills by working in barbershops while he attended school in Istanbul. By 2000, Flori was already running his own business in his hometown. Local students tapped into his breadth of knowledge, and before he knew it, Flori had taught 25 people how to cut hair.
Ever striving for elevated success, in 2002, Flori decided to attend Framesi Albania Academy. This Italian-run school in Kosovo helped broaden his abilities working with both men’s and women’s hair. With his fine-tuned skills, Flori made the decision to come to the United States in search of better business opportunities.
In 2021, Flori Barbershop opened its welcoming doors in Eastchester. As a testament to Flori’s skills and warmth, his loyal clientele continues to travel from Rockland, Albany, Long Island, and even Boston to occupy a chair in the new barbershop. Whether clients are looking to touch up their usual style or try something bold and new, they can always expect an enjoyable, clean, and comfortable experience when they take a seat in Flori’s chair.
Zen
Born and raised in the beautiful country of Kosovo, Zen created a well-known reputation for his distinguished craft as a Master Barber. His career began after attending school in the capital of Prishtina, Kosovo. After the year 1999, Zen went on to further his expertise learning alongside Flori. Zen apprenticed Flori for many years, perfecting his techniques. His scissor-work allowed him to excel in learning the latest trends and satisfying his customers. Zen’s extroverted personality creates great connections with customers and easily allows an understanding of their wants and needs, making their experience an enjoyable one. In order to ensure his professional advancement and reunite with his former colleagues, Zen decided to move to the United States. Zen’s passion for the art of barbering translates through his quality of work and he is excited to build new relationships with our clientele here at Flori Barbershop.
